I am trying to get hold of the alarm keyfobs for my 1998 z3 1.9.
There were no fobs when I bought it, just the usual keys, and the alarm was disconnected/unplugged.
Any ideas please?

Look at previou post here, Andy (spursfaninacoupe has lots) and Jonco has posted instructions also look on the main zroadster.org forum and you will find all you need to know about remote fobs
As far as I know nothing has changed, the instructions there we carried out on my 98 1.9 a few years back and worked well, but the first fob that I purchased did not work as i found out that it was not for a Z3 and got my mney back, if Andy still has some of those fobs in the earlier post they should do you fine, I found Jonco a very big helpYes I saw that but saw the date was 2011, so thought I would ask again.
Andy is a good helpful chap to deal with im sure he can assist with the fob
Yes, the instructions are good thanks, I was hoping someone with a stock would possibly reply. So many fobs out there that say they will work, its hard to know which to try (I am a newbie in case you hadnt guessed..lol).

The fob you need is the brick type, not the one in the key which is for the later models
