Good Afternoon,

My current Z3 might be coming to the end of its economical life (post dodgy work at a local garage). Is there any decent 2.8/3.0 coming up for sale? Looking for decent condition. Appreciate it is entering the Z3 season, but just keen to see what is out there pending a review from a new garage about the bill to repair mine.

There is a post recently put up titled Mathewsons. They have a 57000 mile 2.8 coming up in the next auction, valued at £3-4k. Seems a fair price for good miles to me.
 
Hi there. I always watch Bangers and Cash on TV. A good car will always fetch more than the guide to me. They should fetch at least £5,000 - £6,000 for a good one. Good luck if you get a good clean genuine one for £3,000 - £4,000.👍😀

I agree but if you can steal that at £4000 it'd be a good buy. I sold my Z3 2.8 4 years ago for £4750 and that had done 103,000.
 
Keep an eye on it you never know you might get lucky on the day with not many bidders or interest in it.Good luck! 👍😀

I bought my 1998 z3 2.8 in November 2024 for £2900. Elec roof, heated sport elec seats
110k miles, minimal rust, good service history

Hi and thanks for the message and I understand what you are saying.

I'd always prefer to pay more for a lower mileage car though. My first one had over 160,000 miles on it, and this one with only 54,000 drives like a new and completely different car.
 
Yeah i would have bought a lower mileage car, had I got the funds. It does make a big difference,

Hi @Andyjames I’m having a gentle attempt at selling mine . 59k miles great condition . I’ve spent a lot over the last 3 years . New genuine sills , koni sport shocks . Just serviced & mot . Last week .kept in the garage .
Advertising for 8k , but would take a serious offer. I’m not fussed if I end up keeping it hence the advertised price .

Did you get your car sorted or are you still looking as I now have a 2001 Titan silver 93000 miles o clock all sorted to sell if still interested
