- And a set of extractors which I will surely need having seen the state of the current bracket bolts!
Boot gas struts. So, who knew the pre and post facelift struts were different. My 2002 3.0 seems to have pre face lift ones. Difference is the compression force 680N versus 720N for the facelift. My boot always felt like there was not enough support.
I really wanted Stabilus struts, but ordered Febi as they were on offer ..but then low and behold when I opened the packet

Doing a ton of grp work and the amount of dust I'm making. Car gets full of dust. Decided to get a dust cover so I can just peel back the corner I'm working on.
Cover is really soft. I'd happily pull it over nice paint . . . If I had nice paint.

One day. As they always say on Grand Designs, it'll be done by Christmas. Never say which Christmas, though.
Although I have the replacement button to fit, I thought I would try a sticker.

What do they do then? And why is it good to replace them ?
They are for the folding roof and can stop working which in turn breaks the pump =££££.

While building my rebody I re-used all the original screws. They're either green or rust coloured.
Now everything is finally on I'll go back round and swap em all for nice new black ones.

Nothing like the feel of a new microfiber cloth. New polishing cloths and extra large drying cloth. Far to nice to get dirty

Salmon relays bought and fitted today. Next job getting a wheel off! Thought I'd have a look at one of the rear calipers to see how much cleaning they'll need before painting, but it's seized on the hub. So tomorrow is getting wheels off for a start. I always put some copper grease on the surface before fitting, pity the previous owner didn't!
