Replacing After-stock Radio

Hey everyone... I have an 1996 Z3 and I bought it with an after-stock radio already in it..... I wanted to get a newer one, one that has bluetooth and is overall better and nicer.

I replaced the radio just fine. but it won't turn on or anything... Ive read that if you replace the radio with the car off then the radio will lockup for "safety"...

I don't have the stock radio anymore to punch in a reset radio code... what do I do now, how do I get the radio to turn back on?

Sounds like you have no power to the unit. I would take it out again and check, then double check that the connectors are inserted fully into the back of the unit.
