New Z3 owner! Happy but dirty hands already!

Hi all!

I'm very happy to finally be able to introduce myself on the forum as the proud owner of a 2001 2.2i Z3. I've been dreaming of this car for a long time and I finally get to drive one! Or well... Kind of. She ran great until I did a Vanos seals job and now my fuel trims have rocketed for some reason!

I'm digging into this forum to find guidance on how to tackle this and I can't believe the amount of knowledge people have and are willing to share on here. I'm very grateful for it!

Hope to get to speak to some of you at some point!

Hi and welcome from me too, near Lincoln. Where are you located please? I would suspect that you upset a vacuum pipe or perhaps left one off when you did the Vanos seals as there's no direct connection between the two.
