Hi, I am Val and about 2 months ago I have bought a Z3 1.9 1997. It has got 82000miles and it’s in a general good condition. Have replaced a few bits an pieces and looking forward to improve the condition further. I am a BMW enthusiast and have own quite a few over the years. It is nice to be in a place where other people share you passion.

So far I have replaced the following:

- Rear exhaust (previous back box was too loud for my liking)
- cranks positioning sensor
- idle control valve ( no more buzzing noise when the ignition in position 2)
- spark plugs
- ignition coil pack & leads
- ecu remap ( noticeable difference in trotle response & power increase)
- Michelin pilot sport 4 x 225/16 on all
corners
- Retrimed M3 style steering wheel ( Germany) - totally changed the feeling/driving experience

I was looking to replace suspension bushings and coilovers in the near future.

By the way, I love this little car! I also own an E92 M3, but is not as charismatic as the Z3.
