I am new to this forum. I am looking at buying a Z3; hopefully a 2 litre straight 6 with Air Con, heated seats and roll bars. Looking to pay 2-3K. Owned a brand new one of this spec back in 2000 for a couple of years and loved it. Although had lots of new BMWs since looking for this to be a third car for summer use. Any advice appreciated,

Hi and welcome, where are you based, There is a very nice 2.2 sport just down the road from me in Lincs, and I mean very nice, I spotted it this morning, spun the car around and had a quick look around it, I couldn't see any rust at all, thats all I know but if you are interested I can give them knock and get the price, its atlanta blue, looks stock as well, I will also take a good look it as well

Hi and welcome from Oxfordshire. I hope you enjoy your search for your new Zed. There’s always members selling cars on here if your biding your time. As you can see there history on maintenance and mods. As most are getting on a bit in the tooth if they’ve had the rear beam bushes changed saves a job to do and tightens up the rear end. On whatever your buying a wad full of receipts goes towards on how well a future purchase has been looked after.
