Day 1
Top down all the way, A68 last pub in England for a pitstop
Made it to Scotland
Sat in the beer garden in the sun at the Horseshoe in Eddlestone after a drive up some of Tweedsdale. Also a big shout out to the Scotland team for winning as the roads were unbelievably quie. Pitlochry Hydro tomorrow then Arisaig for a couple of nights.
Verison and black pudding lasagne
Lamb rump, lamb roulade and lamb bacon
One of us had a pudding
Rhubarb and raspberry creme brulee

Day 3 to Arisaig
Set off in mist and mizzle top up for a few miles
A9 then off at Dalwhinnie A889 several old cortinas spotted, but only got a pic of one
A86 to Spean bridge
A82 to Fort William then A830 to Arisaig
Not a bad snap at speed of the memorial at Glenfinnan
107 miles top down for all bar about 10min. Parked up for 2 nights at Arisaig

Boat trip to see wildlife

Saw the Jacobite Lancashire Fusiliers Mallaig
and beat it on the little bus to Morar
Little walk to the silver sands
Back to Airsaig for tea

Storms taxi to the Isle of Skye coming in.
So the salmon can jump up it to swim up stream to spawn, there's more water in it then so it's a load of little waterfalls!
Day 6 Skye
115 miles today all top up as it was peeing it down. Statute in Malaig harbour to commemorate its fishing history
On the ferry
Road from Armadale to the main riad was full of potholes.
A few big mountains on Skye we were told but they were all hiding today
The bridge at Sligachan
There is a statue of mountaineers here looking at the Cuillin hills couldn't see either for the rain tho
Safe to say we will be back and this is why here's what we could have seen courtesy of others .......

Looks a spectacular place to experience and how maddening the weather Gods decided to cause poor visibility. I’d be on the ferry rather than that weird-looking bridge!
