Enjoyable week away, came out to find . . . (it wasn't just us, others had similar).

Little wotsits kept at it while a few of us were chatting about the situation . . .

Flying foxes here, acidic. eats the paint if you leave it on.

Exactly ! I've had the right grump on all the way home. About to find out if it's any lasting damage . . . Or not . . .
Most probably herring gull s***. They mainly eat chips and sandwiches by the seaside, so your paint will be OK.

Feel happy it's just a car. Did I ever tell you about the time back when I was living in Folkestone and went out on a bike? And one of them sh1tehawks cr4pped on my crash helmet. Luckily I hadn't gone far, didn't take long to go back home and have a splash in the shower. Maybe I should have had the visor down, but hindsight is always better.....

Still hate the little aerial boutards though . . .

It was bad enough coming out and finding they'd applied the first coat. They were circling overhead with bombing runs along the front of the hotel. Chatting to another couple who'd suffered the same fate, to have another deposit hit the car window right next to me - missed me by inches . . .

Vindictive little critters . . .

What? Foxes that fly?
You have some weird animals down there.....foxes that fly, huge rabbits that can box. What else.....tap dancing crocodiles? :D =))
Dirty great big bats, wing span of about a meter, make a god awful din at night, and poo purple, and its usually runny and gets really good coverage... Obviously being bats, they poo on the wing. Due to the impracticability of letting one rip whilst hanging upside down in a tree.

We’re about 2 miles from the seaside 🌞
Which is lovely 👍
so we’re used to this happening 😳
Alan can wash both cars and in 5 mins they could be covered again , it’s very annoying but we’re used to it now 🙁

Always carry a box of these. Was sceptical when they were recommend in Halfords but they work fantastically. Also carry a spray bottle with premix wash in it and a cloth. Everything back to normal in under 10 mins 👍

You're the second person to recommend those Andy, I must remember to pick up a pack.

I did have a spray bottle of both windolene and detailer in the boot (obvs). But one over-nighter had cemented itself in place, didn't want to risk scratching the paint in removal.

Turned out okay, so alls well that ends well I suppose . . .

The AutoGlym wipes are excellent. Lay then on and leave soak before wiping away.
