Hello!

Just purchased my first Z3!

It’s a 1997 RHD UK Standard M52B28 Pre-facelift model in Montreal Blue (I think?).

Loved the cars for ages and decided to get the Z rather than another NA MX-5… can’t wait to enjoy the car.

I once had an E36 328i in the same colour and loved it… for the short time it was alive until the head gasket gunk the previous owner applied burnt off and the car became scrap :(

I’m hoping I don’t get any similar issues from the Z!

Looking to learn a few things and pass any relevant experience along with everyone.

I’m based in the Midlands, near Coventry. I’m up near Bolton quite often though too.

Thanks Tom , I had an NA Eunos before buying a Z3. Now I have a Z4. Based near Lincoln where we have the ZedShed (Midlands) non profit operation in my garage. A place you can come and bring your parts and use my lift, pit and tools and meet other zedders and shedders.

Great to know thanks Tony - will try come out for a drive over the summer. I’m sure I’ll find an excuse to get mine on the lift soon!
