Hi all

Hi @Ian S,:welcome: to the forum from me too in Staffordshire. Good luck with your search:thumbsup:

Hi and :welcome: from Surrey, good luck with your search. I know Forres a little bit as my brother and his family live there. Haven't been up there for a couple of years but hope to make it again soon.
Small world! used to live in Glasgow but moved up here and loving it

Just arrived here at the beginning of my search for a Z3, I've had an MX5 Mk1 for a few years, and love it, but think I need something that can handle longer runs easier, driving the car is fine, but conversations are a bit difficult!
So I have been reading good things about Z3's and need to start looking at actual cars next. I don't mind travelling to get the right car, I went 450 miles to get my Lexus LS400 which I saw on Ebay, a days travel is nothing if you get the right car you will have for years!
Just as well really, as I live up near Inverness!

Anyway, hello to all, and any observations for someone just started looking gratefully received
Welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey....................Frankie

Hi from London I have had 4 eunos/mx5s great cars , I still have a black 1600 s LTD with red leather locked away in my parents garage

I personally like both the 4 and 6 cylinder cars, but they are quite different vehicles. Suggest try both and decide how you are going to mainly use it. Have fun with the hunt!:)

Hi welcome from Mansfield.

I’ve a 1.9 and 2.8 as I like to have a choice. =))

Hi and welcome from Warwickshire.
You are certainly well North, but, location is no bar.
If you find a prospect then a few folk on here will go take a look for you before you commit to travelling. Just got to ask to see if anyone local can help:thumbsup:

Thank you all for your welcome and suggestions! and lovely MX5 pics! I have sort of jumped in and gone for this:-

Genuine chap selling it, so flight booked and deposit paid, I fancied the bigger engine and the lazy man's automatic. Need the aircon for clearing the damp air, not for cooling! and will be looking at retrofitting heated seat pads and cruise control. Excited! off to search for OBD reader info on this forum now...

That will.make you a fine car Ian.
I like my auto.
Tony.

Looks like a good one

Hope when you go to see it that it looks as good as the photos.

The good thing with Z3s is that the standard wiring loom has all wires in place. So most things are plug and play.
