Hey y’all! Just got here via safari from the south, if you can’t already tell.
I bought my lil DirtDobber over a year ago and had to put her in dry-dock immediately following a health scare.
But now I’m up and running and she’s out of the hooscow!
Time to start fixing her up and playing mechanic.

About DirtDobber:
She’s a 2002 Z3 2.2i with 149,000 miles on her - wow- . She’s had a lot of owners too - poor things been passed around more than a pair of dice in a truck stop casino! I wasn’t her first owner, but maybe I’ll be her last.

List of To-Do’s Include:
Paint Job - oh boy does she need paint!
Top restoration - the top doesn’t wanna go all the way down and is even harder to get back up! Motor? Assembly? Frame? Idk
Emblem replacements - one washed off?!?!?
New door handles - good lord, somebody secured ‘em back on with WOOD SCREWS!
Probably new window motors
New emergency brake handle
Maybe new door panels - idk just yet
New sound system - pretty obvious update.

And....Whatever mechanics come along - so far she runs *pretty good - with a couple issues I’ll be tackling soon: like motor surging on idle after a run & not wanting to fire up immediately about ever 15th start >>>

Thankfully she came with a couple brand new body pieces in the trunk already.

So guess what the husband said when he came home and found I’d bought a Z?
Go on guess?

Did you guess “Dammit, Girl” ♥️

Yeah, I’m gonna have fun with this.

:welcome:to the forum from West Cumbria, England. That's a fair old list you have to do. Nice to see another Zed (Zee) being saved. Pop up a progress thread so we can see how you're getting along. Good luck.
