Hi everyone. Have a 3.0 with under 27k miles but feel the body scuttle as I go over train tracks or uneven roads, mostly at speeds under 40mph. What are typical causes and solutions you have encountered.

Usually old and worn out rubber bushes and shock absorbers (20 odd years old) or tyres in poor condition. Once these cars are put back into original (as new condition) you will not experience these issues.

Tony.

I don't think the Z3 has a particularly stiff body shell, common to many Roadsters of that time. I found that fitting a rear Butt Strut and longitudinal brace bars, (both from 'Strong Strut' in the U.S.A.) plus a front brace seemed to stiffen up the car somewhat.

Hi @Mihir Korke, :welcome:to the forum from me too in Staffordshire, UK. What Tony said ;)

:welcome:to the forum from West Cumbria. Mine was night and day once I'd changed the tyres, shocks and bushes. Zero tramlining now.
