1999 Exhaust replacment

Hi All,

I'm hoping that someone may be able to help me. I am in the Northampton area and have a z3 I bought last September. It is a 1999 V reg 1.9.

It has failed its MOT due to the exhaust and both garages I have now taken it to have not been able to get the right part. One of them ordered a part system and the other said I need a one piece... I am pretty confused!

Is there something special about the exhaust system on the 1999 car?

Please help!!! Really appreciated.

How on earth do they do that - £45.00 and it's even made in EU!

there surprisingly good quality too, they have a deeper sound as the resonator is different, mine has been on the car since about feb, looked under the car Saturday expecting to see it rusting but no still looks the same.
